Serai Lui was born in 1887 as the oldest of her siblings and later died in 1966. Her biological mother was not Mary Ann but a women surname Mari. She married Joseph (Yosepa) Lui and had ten children together.
Their children were Eli John Lui, Tom Kapi Lui, Seriana Tapim (Lui), Getano Lui (Snr), Murrary Lui, Morris Lui, Erie Lui, Andrew Lui, Malu Lui, and lastly Abiu Lui.
