Maivanga (Bozi) Savage

Born 1855, Niue Island – Died 1907 (aged 52), Badu Island.

Maivanga Savage married Aiaga, a native woman from Mua Island. Their children are Lily Lockett/Corrie (Nee: Savage), Flora Ahmat (Nee: Savage), Alua Savage, Kowsa Savage, and Powanga (Snr) Savage.

Aiaga died in 1900 and was buried at Dabu, Mua Island. At the time of her death, Powanga (Snr) was a newborn/infant. As Maivanga was unable to care for an infant child, Powanga was traditionally adopted by Joe and Zaraza Savage.

Maivanga later married Dadu from Mua Island, and they had one child, Yogabetha Galora (Nee: Savage).
